Buoys Placed to Help Protect Manasota Key Offshore Archaeological Site
The Florida Department of State announced today that buoys have been placed at the corners of the Manasota Key Offshore archaeological to mark the area. Gulf Coast Community Foundation provided funds to expedite the purchase and installation of these buoys as part of the plan to protect this sensitive and unique cultural resource.
